I never leave home without my camera. I shoot whatever moves me at the moment. I initially got into photography when I was 8 years old and received my first camera.
My dog Zoe was my first real inspiration into the world of pet photography. I love to capture the personality of the animals when I photograph them. From the tiny frogs who just hop about to the large horses that gallop, it is always enjoyable.
Children also are very enjoyable to photograph. I enjoy capturing the essence of childhood with my photographs, whether it is them playing in the snow, running through a field or playing with their toys. Sometimes I just let them play and then I can capture their true personality without them showing off for the camera. Staged photos are nice, but to truly capture the essence of the child is priceless.
Living in America, there is no end to beautiful scenery and wonderful opportunities to capture wildlife in their true settings.
I inherited a love of classic vehicles from my father. There is something about the curve of a fender or the gleam of chrome that I love to capture with my camera.
Anything and everything can make a good photo subject.
